Hi, I’m Chris Eller.
Welcome to my little place on the web. This is where I write about things that interest me, from history to theology to Bible study to apologetics to worldview trends.
You can expect to see a lot of diverse thinking. I like meaningful conversation and I am not afraid to disagree with someone or have someone disagree with me.
I will try to categorize things so if you don’t really care for my thoughts on worldview or trends in the American Church, but enjoy my writing on Personal Knowledge Management (PKM) or productivity and technology, you can sort through the cruft and read what interests you.
I understand this perspective goes against everything you will read on developing a blog or newsletter, but this is how I am going to roll. Truth be told, the best piece of advice for any writer is to write what interests you, so that is what I intend to do.
You can also follow along as I publish my notes. I am following the concept of learning in public, which seems daunting at first. I have enjoyed reading and following others as they pursue a similar philosophy of openness that allows their readers to see their thoughts and interests develop.
One of the values I try to live by is summarized with the words, “The Joy Is in the Journey.” I hope you will join me on this journey and that you will find it interesting and help you find joy in the journey of life.
