The Starting Point

It isn’t going to be perfect. Believe it or not, I’ve had “Start a Blog” on my Master To Do list for 18 months. Since first starting to think about blogging, I’ve enjoyed countless hours studying and researching the tools, techniques and methods behind blogging. My quest has been to create the perfect blog out of the gate. I didn’t want to start until it was beautiful and well organized and well categorized. I’ve realized, however, like many things in life, that unless I just start, it will never happen. Technology moves too quickly, and just when I think I’m starting to understand the differences between Word Press and Blogger, there are five more web services to investigate. So, dear reader, enjoy the work in progress. But just remember, it isn’t going to be perfect (at first).

Focus of this Blog

The focus of this blog will certainly change over time. My interests are wide and diverse. Just to begin with, here is a run down of the broad categories that will ultimately form this blog:

    Bible Study
    Teaching
    Software
    Technology
    Mobile Technology
    Church Communications
    Personal Productivity
    Photography
    History
    The Church
    Prophecy
    Writing
    News
    Politics

The list will probably grow as I think of more categories, but that’s a start.
